Bangla Road
GoGo Bars, Beer Bars, Clubs, MassageBangla Road is Phuket's answer to Soi Cowboy — a 400-metre pedestrianised strip in Patong that closes to traffic after dark and concentrates the island's GoGo bars, beer bars, clubs, and massage shops in one walkable area. It's busy every night of the year regardless of season, and it's the obvious starting point for any first-time visitor.
The GoGo bars line both sides of the main strip, with beer bars and clubs filling the sois (side alleys) that branch off it. The format is identical to Bangkok: barfines to take a girl out, lady drinks to sit with you, standard pricing posted or available on request. Barfines run 600–1,000 THB, slightly higher than Pattaya's Walking Street. The overall energy is similar to Cowboy — manageable scale, tourist-friendly, not as intense as Nana.
Bangla Road peaks from 10pm to 2am. The earlier evening is for dinner and casual drinks; the GoGo bars fill up after 10. Security is visible throughout and the street itself is well-lit and safe. The side streets are where the beer bars and massage shops are — quieter, cheaper, and where most people end up after the GoGo bar circuit.
